Leadership-Peter Nesbitt
Regional Vice-President, Asia, EDC
Peter Nesbitt joined Export Development Canada (EDC) in October 2003 as Regional Manager for South and Southeast Asia. In April 2005, he relocated to New Delhi and was appointed as EDC’s first Chief Representative to India. In November 2007, Mr. Nesbitt was appointed Regional Vice-President, South and Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining EDC, Mr. Nesbitt worked internationally for Scotiabank. His last assignment was as a Commercial Branch Manager in Bangalore, India. He has lived and worked in South Asia for more than 13 years.
Mr. Nesbitt holds a BA in Political Science from Carleton University and an MBA from Dalhousie University. He is currently working towards a Fellowship in the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
