Leadership- Ashi Mathur

Ashi has over 12 years of investment banking experience. He joined
BMO Capital Markets’ Communications practice in January 2001 after
spending close to five years at N.M. Rothschild & Sons (“Rothschild”).
Prior to joining Rothschild, Ashi spent four years with Ernst & Young in
its Corporate Finance and Auditing groups, where he qualified as a
Chartered Accountant.
During his career, he has been the lead advisor to a number of
Communications companies with respect to mergers & acquisitions,
recapitalizations, and both debt and equity financings.
In addition to Ashi’s coverage responsibilities of North American
clients, Ashi is leading BMO Capital Markets’ initiative to build an
investment and corporate banking presence in India.
Ashi is also on the Board of Directors and the Fundraising Committee
of The George Hull Centre, a charitable organization focused on the
betterment of children and families.
