This highly successful panel discussion took an in-depth look at Asian markets, uncovering the opportunities and steering clear of the pitfalls of doing business in China, India, and Southeast Asia.

Peter Hall, Vice-President and Chief Economist at EDC, David Fung, Chairman and CEO of the ACDEG Group, and Gary Comerford, Executive Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer, Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, led an engaging discussion about how China, India and Southeast Asia have influenced and will be continuing to shape Canada’s trade and investment landscape.

In addition, EDC’s visiting Chief Representatives from across Asia hosted regional panel discussions with experts from the Canada China Business Council and the Canada-India Business Council allowing guests to hear “on the ground” market intel. Participants learned from real life experiences of Canadian firms who are succeeding in Asia’s most promising countries.

The panel discussion allowed insight on Asian economies, successful business strategies, and advice on how Canadian businesses can better engage with Asia.
